Hello lil princes and princesses,
I'm Sammie and this blog is all about plus size petite fashion, Disney style, dance and travel.
Disney has always been a part of my life. I always wanted to be a princess. When I went to Disney I would feel special. I was told that my dreams can come true and this made me want to follow every path I could in order to achieve my dreams. The confidence Disney gives me is why I like to incorporate Disney into my every day life. Putting that little bit of magic into my wardrobe makes me feel like the princess I am. This is why I Disneybound. To some it may look like I'm just wearing a regular outfit but to me I am a princess, a fairy, a wizard, the hero or the villain. I can be anything.
Since I was a young girl I have never believed I was beautiful. I have been teased about my weight for as long as I can remember. Even in dance I was told I would not succeed because of my weight. I was never taken seriously because of how I looked. That's why I loved teaching dance. I was able to give confidence to the kids who had a passion for dance but where never looked at twice because of their background, way of life, and looks. I loved to tell those kids that they are talented and they can do whatever they put their minds to. Through this blog I hope to give others confidence to try new styles, try new places, try everything!
